Has anyone ever had their ski's or snowboard stolen?

Ok so last year the first day I went snowboarding I was having a great time so we came in for a break at the chalet, they have awesome things to hold your ski's and snowboards. I was only inside for 5 minutes and when I came back out it was gone! I fuckin looked for 2 weeks on places like ebay and google and craigs list. It was a Burton Clash Size 146 and it had a blue underside with white writing and the top was gold and white. Now I want to know if something like this has ever happened to you and if you found it and how you did it.

nah but once i saw this gaper snowboarder kid walk into the chalet and leave his shitty burton board on one of those fancy ski racks out front so i took his board and chucked it down the hill. slid about a quarter mile untill it went into some thick woods.

anywhooo...
last year i had my arva stolen from the restaurant
(really stupid partially my fault for leaving it there for a moment..) but it was still switched on and me 'n my friends were the only ones with arva's (= avalanche beepers for you kids who don't know what im talkin bout...) so i immediately sent my friends after it with their beepers, they went down the run and down there in the lift line was this old gaper (40y or something) with my arva still switched on in his backpack, we immediately told the liftie, he picked the guy out of the line, i got my beeper back and skipatrol escorted the gaper off the hill... hurray hurray ! :D

one time me and my little bro got our backpack stolen while we were at a waterpark wearing only our swim suits. I suspect mexicans.
