im trying to agree with you. the quality is nuts. but i dunno. cut scenes are ridiculous. but its to be expected from any Japanese rpg. that being said im watching him play level one. does it get cooler as you get further into the game?

It, really, isn't an RPG.
And yes, the game gets fucking crazy towards the end. Like, Dante gets this crazy weapon that makes him dance like a salsa dancer and he throws roses at people that explode and shit. The final boss is also quite nuts. Dante takes Nero and literally throws him into this gigantic like 200 foot tall statue.
