i'm a pussy so i think every scary movie is scary, but what really got me were: the blair witch project, both Jeepers Creepers, The ring, Fear dot com, and many more.

depends on what type of scary

realistically, the strangers kept me up the night after i watched it.

more of like a classic movie, the new halloween was good, and so was the new friday the 13th.

more on the gory side of things:all the saw combined got me thinking what the worst way to die would be.

going to see paranormal activity tomorow, i hope thats good.

the blair witch project. scary as shit. i live 15 minutes away from where it "took place" and where they filmed it, so living next to the woods where the story goes adds so much to it.

The ORIGINAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shining, and I'll be honest the first Alien movie was kinda scary when I was younger at least.

I laughed through texas chainsaw massacre as a young lad. The Shining and The descent hands down. Also, deliverance was sorta scary.

i dunno, for some reason i've only been scared at a movie once, and that was hide and seek, but i was in like 6th grade.
i've seen the strangers, paranormal activity etc, and i don't find any of them scary, especially the strangers. they're both a little creepy, but not scary for sure. and movies like saw and hills have eyes aren't even scary, they're just gory as hell

if you havent seen any of the previews or commercials for paranormal activity, the last part of the movie will scare the fuck out of you. the whole theater i was in yelled fuck at literally the same time. i was shaking for like 25 mins after cause its just so fuckin sketch.

I don't see a lot of scary movies, but the Exorcism of Emily Rose definitely had me up all night, and i slept with a couple lights on for the rest of the week after i saw it.  The Grudge 2 was sort of scary, but stupidly unrealistic.  One Missed Call was sort of scary because i watched it alone in my basement.  The Rob Zombie remake of Halloween wasn't really scary but it was pretty good. 

But scariest i've seen is definitely the Exorcism of Emily Rose, at least for the freak out factor.

We live on the runway path for the Bellingham Airport. We were walking the family dog and my dad was carrying me on his shoulders and one plane came in at night and he points up and goes:
"ET phone HOME!!!!!" with the voice and everything. I start screaming and rip out two massive clumps of hair from his head. He never did that again.
