My friend had another good one day.

He was sliding the flat-down-flat rail for his 2nd attempt, and when he got to the last flat he lost his balance and turned fakie and started falling facing uphill onto the rail. At the same time he got his pole in between his legs and broke it with his groin.

The funny thing is, the poles belonged to his dad, because he broke his other ones and he has to special order poles his size (he's like 6 foot 4 or something).

my worst one this season was last week when i went off a table trying to do a 3, but had too much speed AND spun to fast so i did a corked 7 i guess and cleared the landing by like 10 feet. i was told this by my friends because i dont remember cause i got a concussion and my goggles plastic part around it went into my skin under my eye. my whole face was bloody and i didnt know what happened or where i was. and i couldnt feel the pain of my face for sum reason and i got 6 stitches which are finally coming out tomorrow.only 1 week of having them. but it was weird not remembering anything. just remember being in mid air overrotating, think oh shit, and that is all i can remember. no remembering of landing

high north session 2 last year... some kid in our group (the unimogs) named Will had the worst possible pencil steeze ever. I'm talking Stanford Eagle No. 2 pencil steeze. It was horrible. He'd wind up at least 3 times before hitting the lip, then just spin like crazy with his pencil style. he thought he was hot shit, it was funny. Anyways, the first day the big table opened up, we were all hitting it, and stupid Will thought he was so good that he'd do a 3 his first hit. So he goes down the inrun and speed checks about 3 times, winds up 4 times (left, right, left, right), throws the most pencil-ed out 3 attempt i've ever seen, and decks it 10 feet short. I thought his knees snapped, it was the funniest thing i had ever seen. I remember one of the campers had it on video, don't remember who though, they should post it on here. lol, everyone was making fun of him, even Seth. stupid Will.

This year i was at sugarbush, and i decided i would go for a seven, even though there was zero visablity. I got the seven fine, but for some reason i kept spinning, probalby because i couldn't see the ground. Spun like an 810, and slammed my face into the ground side, and my tooth slammed into my lip and started bleeding all over the place. I hit my head so hard one of my eyes wouldn't focus, and if i wasn't wearing a helmet, i woulda had the worst concussion in teh world. Its like a 35 ft table, and i landed like 15 ft down the landing. It hurt so bad.

I have you all beat... for the funiest al least. this year me and my friend Darryl (mike_hunt10) were hitting the S rail at blue... so darryl is goin in, sliding fine then like 3 feet from the end he randomly double ejects while still on the rail, and before he hits the ground, he catches both his feet under the end of the rail... this tosses him into a perfect front flip, which he sticks perfectly on his feet at the botum of the landing, and boot skis out of it. it was incredible. i sooo wish we had that one on film.

at sr we have a y rail. some kid i dont know who got on fine, then one ski went each way on the y and he went into a split/nut to double ejection to face plant.

i was at tremblant towards the begining of the season and i tried to do a 180 off a stepdown. everything worked out just fine untill my pole in my right arm dug into the snow. the upwards motion of my tensed arm cause my rotator cuff to tear slightly. i lay on the ground for a few minutes rithing in pain befor i got up and decided that it wasnt too bad. i then went to hit their downbox without enough speed, my skis caught the edge of the box sending me shoulder first into the box. i couldnt move my arm for 2 weeks and now 3 months later it still hurts to move.

i did somethin like that^^ 2 years ago at chicopee on this straight rail when i couldnt slide rails. it hurt so fuckin bad, i couldnt even pole plant

tried my first one-foot slide on the big box at avila (notin special i kno but this was my first season skiing :D) dont kno how but slowly slipped off,tryin to save myself i jumped off, ski got caught, landed flat on back...wasnt that bad just got the wind knocked outta me

apple, i did almost the same thing as you. i did a 3 off a little kicker and my left pole somehow got under my right armpit then wheni landed it jammed upwards into the mussle, burned for a little but no long term damage.

Just yesterday I was going up to a short flat rail, no problem in the past. But the snow was slower than i thought so I didn't have enough speed. So I go for it and my back ski catches on the end. I go down and smash my ribs on the rail. Then I fall forward and dive straight into the ground and flip over. I was seeing stars and was mad dizzy for a few minutes. But I'm fine now......I think.

Screw saving money, I want instant gratification now!

i had about 5 feet of air in the halfpipe and i landed on the edge of the wall because i didn't kick hard enough. one ski stayed on top and the other fell down. i tossed my poles and did a front flip into the pipe.

i did the same sort of thing in a quarter pipe except that i had 10' of air and i landed on my head. i'm pretty sure i lost my car keys up there too.

That's like the worst run EVER! You must have been in a world of hurts...

My worst bail of the season was not bad. It's been a good year (knock on wood for this weekend - I think it'll be the last ride this season regardless).

I was skiing a pipe and I've been going higher out this past couple of times skiing than ever before. Probably up to 9' out on my biggest hits. Anyways I was up there on the skier's left wall and I wasn't thinking clearly and I didn't really decide if I should exit the pipe or drop back in (trying to make this decision in the air). Ended up decking with one leg and dropping back in with the other. Surprisingly though I didn't get hurt...

Previosu years' worst wipeout: probably in Whistler when I was exiting some steep run with a little drop at the bottom. It was flat light and I thought I saw a clear run out to the groomed run. So I jumped off. Got going pretty fast and turned out what I thoght was a clear line was a line of three big moguls. I was all over the place and when I finally stopped after about 50' of sliding on the groomed run I found I broke my X-Scream in half. Turned out well though as it was my motivation to get Pocket Rockets which was my intro to this new-fangled style of skiing... I've been progressing more and enjoying skiing more every day that I've been out since...

this season i didnt get to ski up at good mountains much, so nothn huge. but i nutted the a-frame at loon, that was fun.

last year i got 2 concussions, i could describe em but im lazy

First season attempting park. I came of a jump and landed it cleanly. Accelerated like a bat out of hell and aimed for the next jump without checking speed. It's flatter (probably good or I would have been shot up extremely high) clear the flat part and the landing and come down flat from about 10'. Bounce off the back of my skis. Almost stand up, but catch edge on right ski and it shoots back hitting me in the cheek. Somehow I got away with not broken bones, cartwheel like hell and ditch both skis in the process. Come to rest almost 100' from the beginning of the jump. Had to go back and collect my stuff, but got away lucky with just some bruises.

falling on my chest on cement stairs. off an urban rail. not fun at all. that was the most pain id ever been in by far and ive concussed myself numerous times. broken thumbs hurt too. and they never get better damnit

Skiing second weekend the place was open. Hit about 10' of pow with machine snow crust over that. Broke through the crust and faceplanted right under the lift. One of the more beautiful falls ever. Then skied into a snowgun while practicing my switch riding and almost broke my elbow. That would have sucked.

No good park crashes because I don't really ski park too much.....but last season I did a 270 on to a C-Box to chinplant. I thought I broke my fucking jaw and it was nice and bloody.
On a 20 inch flat light powder day earlier this season I was nuking down a steep pitch that mellowed to almost flat then another steep pitch. So I couldn't see this 3 foot deep ditch ahead. I hit that ditch going so damn fast and double ejected and did 3 ragdoll front flips and landed about 25 feet from my skis. It was some McGovern shit. Kind of fun though.

at attitash they have a 60 foot booter, and i was like 'fuck it, its the last run of the year, dont be a pussy' so i hit it faster than ive ever skied in my life.......and BOOM i hit the ground about 10 feet past the landing. i broke my binging, got the wind knocked out of me, fucked up my thumg, and got to have a snowmobile ride down the mountain. but would i do it all again?

i got 2 good bail. ones is mine thought.

first: my friend went to try his first ever backflip and he has really shitty binding and when he poped and threw his weight back both skis went straight and out because the din setting is messed. he was able to come around and land on his feet then face planeted because he didnt have his skis on.

second: i was hiting this big jump at one of the ski hills and it was big. no to sure how many feet but more than 45. my friends were hitting it so i decided to give it a shot. i went at it as fast as i could and landed on the knuckle when i came down. i flipped onto my head and rode down the landing on my head. it was so fun. i think just because the adrenaline was rushing.

TWO TIMES in one day I caught an edge coming off of the lift. Other than that though I freakin slid a rail and just kinda... forgot... to turn 90 at the end...

5 ft cliff to an inch of rain crust on about 6' of soft snow. Tips dove, hit a tree. Concusion, broke visor, and cracked helmet were the result.

I was rippin down this double black which i'd never skied before and this little tree bough didnt give like i expected it to and held me back so that my tips dug into the crust and i double ejected and summersaulted. then i got up and i was still holding my pole, now broken in half. I like hardshells.

haha i hit a 25 foot table and attempted a slow rotating 5 yea well i landed 450 and bit the top of the landing needless to say i landed bout 15 feet down the landing and my goggles and poles were else where.... that was probably my best that or my 180 on to a fun box to a accidental 1 footed slide to a ass over tea kettle with goggles funn of snow!
