First off, sorry if there are already threads on it.

so, I did not know anything about this movie, and last night, a couple of my friends and I went to see it...

It was insane.

I can usually do scary movies, due to the gore, and how fake they are, but usually find them as a waste of time and money.

so, after seeing this movie, I was...speechless..

scary- Yes, mostly thrilling..

well done?- Yes/

But ALL I want to know, is this movie/actors real?

did this happen to those people?

It was by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Nothing happened, it wasn't scary. I actually laughed at quite a few scenes. And no, nothing in it ever happened to anyone. A Ouija board spontaneously bursting into flames? Seriously?

Im not gona lie. i was like a loudmouth fat black woman in that movie. i almost got kicked out i was yelling and cursing so loudly. definetly yhr scareiest movie. i was also tripping a little bit so dont judge me.

the movie is based on true events, they are actors, nothing is "real". The ppl who it actually happend to had kept a journal of everything that had happend to them on advise given by the psycic. they really did find the photo, the footsteps actually happend, and they did actually die/go missing. the only scene they had to make up was the last night, and its all based on the massive dent in the wall, and how the guy died(cut jugular btw, no weapon was found).

haha I laughed so hard at the footsteps, Personally, I thought they were chicken feet and that the chicken from family guy was gonna bust out and start a huge fight. The movie was a joke. I want to see the fourth kind, that looks legit scary because there is actual footage of that shit

Hmmmm paranormal activity, scary? No I did not think it was scary. Hilarious? Well if you like watching a whole theater of people freak out at every "scary" scene then yes, this movie is hilarious. I would recommend going to see it drunk as some of my friends were freaking out and literally ran out of the movie theater after it was over but I would have rather seen Saw or something because at least those movies are really gorey

okay the movie is obviously explained

the source of the shit moving around is a giant fan in the house that turns on and off randomly due to circuit surges because it's an old house...duhh

the footsteps and bite marks are simply from a serious infestation of termites. they happen to form footsteps because the guy stepped in dog shit so the termites avoid where his feet have stepped and eat around them, creating the footsteps

the theatre ending is absolute shit. download a version with the original ending.

*spoilers*

she kills her husband and sits and rocks back and forth for 2 days, before cops come and shoot her after she advances on htem with a knife, asking where her husband is. anti-climactic, and disturbing.

the ORIGINAL original ending ends withr ehr kill him then coming back upstairs and just slitting her throat in front of the camera. either way..way better then that piece of shit Spielberg ending that was released in theaters. like no kidding, the ending was Speilbergs idea.
