Natural Rotation Direction

Hello,
I was wondering, is it that the most natural way for spinning is anticlockwise for most people all over the globe. I study osteopathy, and I've heard someone say that some special rotational patterns which are same with about 80 % of people, are reversed in southern side of equator. Well, that was with native people I think. I just thought could that has anything to do with rotation direction. Or could it have something to do with being left of right handed?
Anyway, if someone has I thought about how people in southern side of equator, for example Australia, are spinning, I would like to hear that.
Thank you.

I'm not sure if it has to do with your dominant hand but I would guess. A lot of people are right handed but ride regular vs. goofy on skateboards, etc. However I am ambidextrous, and I have no trouble spinning either way, I never have.

it's too early in the morning to be breaking down spin patterns and using big words like osteopathy.
