So I was looking at the Scott P3 skis to ski when I am not using my Armada j's. Has anyone skied these? I am looking at these because I may be able to get a good deal on them.
if they are the same from the previous years, i think they had foam core. My friend had a pair, and they just fell apart on him, lost their shape fast, and just pretty much broke. He was a small kid to, so it didnt take much for them to break. That being said, compared to twin tips nowadays, they are on the narrower side, i think they are an 80 waist, so if ur doing strictly park, it will be fine, but if u wanna rip up some groomers some days, they may not do it for u because they are pretty soft.
P3s have a wood core.... i love mine, 84 underfoot and they rip hard all over the mt. The top sheet material is really chip resistant. The design may be the same as previous years but that design is a solid all mt. twin( although not awesome in deep snow) and the graphics for this year are pretty dope IMO
