don't be stupid. commit. if you take in enough speed and commit, you'll be fine. So many people just throw themselves backwards and hope for the best, make it about a third of the way around and start flailing and try to pull out of it. You got to work yourself up to it, and then just ride in and do it, and know you're going to do it. If you do that, you'll probably overrotate first try, but that's way better than underrotating.
Things to think about: pop hard off the lip, set the flip with your upper body and especially with your HEAD. If you commit with your head, leaning back and looking for that landing, you'll commit with your body. Once you set that rotation you have to bring your feet and legs up and around... you'll feel it.
And trust me.... once you throw it the first time, you'll wonder what the big deal was. easier than a 360.
