2010 Moment Rocker VS Line Afterbang

Wanting to get new skis around christmas time and was trying to decide between these two.

I weigh 135lbs, 5"9 ski 80% park and just mess around the rest of the time. Pow sometimes.

I would be mounting them with Marker griffon (Dont know if that helps but whatever)

Right now i have line invaders and i like em. Its the only ski ive ever skied so dont know if there bad or not

If you liked the invaders then I'd say stay with Line.

I ski the rockers and I love them, but the camber really isn't for everyone. It's a fantastic ski, don't get me wrong but I think the afterbang would better suit your needs. That said, if you're looking for a new experience on skis it couldn't hurt to go with the rockers.

They're both symmetrical too, so they're similar to the invaders in that regard.

ive skied invaders and i have last years reno jibs, and there awesome huge camber so poppy bombproof solid at speeds but still fun

The invader is more playful in terms of how soft the invaders are not sure about the afterbangs, i could tell you my reno jibs are lighter than the afterbangs by a descient amount, The rockers i herd is softer than the jib which would make it so much fun.  if you can spend the extra 200 bucks get moments, there awesom man great company, not that line isnt...plus being out here on the east coast i get so many looks from people who have never seen moments before, the square tip bugs people mostly gapers out

haha ya i guess it just depends how much money i have after xmas. I ski tahoe (Where moment is from) so everyone has em lol

If you ski park that much I would personally go with the afterbangs, but the moments arent very common. Like at Blue Mountain Ontario I hear just about everyone has the afterbangs haha :P

Hopefully you make the right choice :)

I hope i make it too. Im sure ill be happy with either but just wanted to see if there was something that makes either one of them better

Also what about the moment jib? I like those alot too but i like softer skis. how much stiffer are they?

Ok so now im trying to decide between the Afterbangs, Rockers or Antidogma or however you spell it lol.... Im so confused.

I want a softer park ski thats gonna be fun for jibbing. I dont really know if i want afterbangs cause all i have ever owned are lines and i wana try some new skis but dont wana spend $200 more

i definitely heard that the afterbangs are super illin.. id say afterbangs. inexpensive, the edges dont ever rip out with line skis, and they will never break with the new ski construction.

afterbangs are kinda overrated, fun ski, but won't handle as well everywhere else. Moment is a great company and makes amazing skis.  If ur not gonna buy until christmas, try to hit an early season demo somewhere to ride the moments.  Call them or look on their website to figure out where.  Afterbangs are great for their price, but i don't feel that they compare in some aspects to other "good" park skis.

Its all about personal preference, if u haven't ever skied on another ski, it is super important that u demo, cause to tell u the truth, u aren't sure what u like yet.

I'm pretty sure these two skis can't really be compared. It's two different types of park skis.

invaders arent a great ski so if you liked them you would love the afterbang. i have both just in case that means anything. i have broken 2 pairs of invaders but thats cus i was skiing them in the wrong places. i'd say go with afterbang but i do have a line bias. also the price is ridiculously different by about 300 dollars then you might want to consider that. hope this helped

get the A bangs. The Antidogmas are not a noodle, they are a pure park ski being able to take from both Big Kickers to Handrails, the Reno Rocker is a different kind of ride and if screwed up you could end up hating them. If you loved the Invaders get the Afterbangs. Can't go wrong.

I've just got the Moment Reno Rockers, so I haven't had the chance to ski them yet, but I can tell that they seem to be a softer ski and don't have camber underfoot. I'm super excited to ski them, but I can't really tell you any more than you probably already know.
