as far as i know tom was under contract w/ amplid for the last two years with little or no contracted pay. I'd imagine that tom wants to capitalized off his success. Scott makes a good fuckin ski, and they're going to be able to do a lot more for his career.

looking the skis honestly they really dont look that impressive not one symmetrical park ski wtf? specs include things like "wood core" and "twin tips" look pretty gaperish to me idk from what i saw i would ride none of them i have never tried them though so who knows

This is an excellent move for Tom, as much as I love Amplid and it was cool that he was on with them, he's gonna have a company that can push him even more now (like Hornbeck and Armada), I'm sure this is going to end up with him becoming even more popular and get into bigger comps and really become the biggest name in the skiing. Congrats Tom!

And, by the way, technically Rogge made it official first by getting Tom to talk about it in his interview, haha.

Amplid didn't have a symmetric ski either, that being said I hope scott steps up their shit this season because the line hasn't changed in years.

I feel so old.  I remember when wallisch used to come to roundtop when we were like 16 and 17.  Reading he is 22 makes me feel old..granted im only 21.  Don't wish your youth away kids.
