ok so i am thinking of saveing some money and flying out to hood this summer for a few days but i dont know what airport to fly into. can any one help?

im from hood its portland airport is the closest then the mountain is about an hour away.

you mine as well sign up for a camp, cause after airfare, hotel, food, and lift tickets, its going to be more expensive to go there by yersulf even for like 2 days then to go to a camp for like 7....go to camp for sure...

just go to PDX and its about 2 1/2(maybe) hours to timberline from PDX not one hour...

well it is about 2 hrs if traffic is bad but ussally 1 and 30 mins but depends on how fast u drive.

first off, airfare isn't included in any camp price.

second off, you don't need to rent a car. have someone pick you up, or you're really rocking cheap steeze, just hitch. hitching to and back from the mountain to a cheap motel is eazie fo sheezie. throw in some cheap groceries and lift tickets and you've got it made.
