How do I do this to a photo

like I understand how to do the lighting and stuff for the actuall photo but as far as editing it afterwards in photoshop what should I do

hahaha i drew this for art, on an old chinese ladys shirt. i dunno how to add a picture to this thread or i would haha.

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION if you have an iphone or touch ipod get the app photshop 2 go i think its called, then you can mess around with not only that but a buttload of other stuff too.

if you have photoshop here's how i'd go about it

put it in iphoto, screw with the contrast/exposure to take away colors, and put it in black and white. bring it into PhotoShop elements and do a new layer with a mask (forget what it's called, but there's not too make so just look around.) then after that take it into cs and do live trace

you kinda need to have alot of software to do this lol

make photo B&W
increase contrast by alot
and manually clean up lines

it helps alot if u have an already contrasty photo

photoshop

image > adjustments > desaturate

image > adjustments > threshold

slide the dial to adjust the level to your liking

um, photoshop, contrast up, go to posterization, then work your levels from there, or manually learn how to cut out what you want with a lasso, i prefer to have exactly what i want in my image.
