The east coast open was ridiculous, the judging was also ridiculous, crichton should have arguably won qp with a switch 9 higher than phillipi's 9, but phillipi did 270 onto the rail, but crichton did on, in my eyes crichton should have won, halfpipe is another story, brent abrams should have most def taken home the win, maney went a couple feet higher doing a straight air-straight air-alleyoop 5-straight air- alley oop flat 5 but completely lacked style and didnt really link his tricks, abrams did straight air- alley oop with mad steez- corked 9 -alley oop 5- 7, he had style through out and had a crazy combo at the end, it seemed like the judges were only judging on amplitude alone

crichton fell twice in pipe both on 10s i think, and wilson did a flair to front flip prob 20 feet out but decked out hard

you are retarded....first of all crichton in the QP.....should have gotten 2nd which he did which was how it should be...he fell on his first final jump...second fell on his cab 10 but somehow STILL beat phillippi which was totally lame....and then got all squirrley on his last jump so phillippi wins....then in superpipe...brent abrams had 2 strait airs....phillippi had 1 strait air and went just as high as brent...maney obvioulsy should not have won though

i didnt c crichton sketch on his last qp run so philippi should have won, but in pipe philippi didnt go close to as big as abrams, and yes there is no way in hell maney should have won, he went big, but his tricks and style were both pretty wack

well in my opinion tim maney for sure should have won... He was the only competitor who went bigger and bigger as he went down the pipe. His 2 last hits on the left wall where the biggest airs of the day also. The ally-oup 5 he threw was like 12-14ft out on a rediculously undervert pipe which is why amplitude was such a huge factor.

Phillipi should have for sure won due to the technicality of his run. He did one straight air and an unatty five and all of phillipies airs were pretty solid 8-10 feet. Maney had no style what so ever and didnt even do a right wall trick. And is newschoolers going to do a article on it?

maney's run was in no way smooth, just big, both his alley oop 5 and alley oop flair/flat were ugly, his striaght airs were high but he def should not have won, abrams in my eyes should ahve won because he went bigger than philippi, but philippi's run was crazy tech, but he lost alot of amplitude towards the bottom of the pipe
