So I was looking around on a VW site cuz I love a solid euro 'wagen and I'm in the market for a car these days and ended up stumbling upon this badboy... Now I'm not saying OMGZ THIS WILL EAT EVERY STI EVER BUILT!!! I know that would start an all out war cuz everybody loves Subies, don't get me wrong I like Subarus too, but this is a hell of a car... 500 horses and internals re-worked to take more boost... 4motion, which is just like the quattro system Audi has (part of the Volkswagen Auto Group) and one of the nicest exhaust notes I've heard in a while... If I wasn't in school and had $35,000 laying around I would open my wallet in a heartbeat....

I've seen it in real life on the road.  Sickest looking car ever.  There is also an R8 in Burlington that I see a bunch.  That is a really nice car also.

Bull. Race antilags don't do any good for engine life, but race engines get regular rebuilds.

A properly set up antilag is no problem to a well looked after engine at all...

Still bad for your exhaust system and your turbo, terrible for them to be specific.  At least that is true on a Subaru.  Also you run the risk of blowing apart your valves.  So no, not practical for a regular engine that is anything but full track only.

Yeah, your turbo is always spooled, meaning you have no turbo lag. It drastically decreases the life of your turbo for sure. An anti-lag system would be terrible for the street, but sounds so sick. You get terrible gas mileage as well as your turbo is always running, but if I could get a Prodrive P2, I probably wouldn't care anyway.
