hey i was thinking of building a backyard setup i was just wondering if anybody knew where to get cheap astro turf in the u.k

I was thinking of something similar since crappy quality used dendix and snowflex goes for so much. Im gonn get on with it nect week will keep you posted if I find anything for cheap.

If you live near a dry slope, have you thought about asking them for some of their off-cuts, I'm sure they will have compassion for the cause and just give you some for free...

Give it a go...

I'll tell you what I'm in Norwich and the dry slope is 5 mins away, if I head across over teh next couple of weeks, i will ask and let you know....

also try eBay hahaaaa

Yeah I asked down as Christchurch and they quoted silly money unless they need to redo the slope Ebay is prob the best option but its still not cheap. I saw 15 sheets go for well over a ton earlier in the summer.

Cheers for the support. if Norwich have some I suppose I could come down for a session and drive the stuff back home.

you saw 15 sheets fetch over a ton!!!

i got about 15 sheets of dendex, got them last summer with grand plans but have not used the stuff yet! might look into this!

Sorry incorrect info there. I was 20 sheest at £62. I suppose thats not too bad a rate for either buyer or seller.

For the lot and I guess you would have to factor in the transport costs for carting it home. Might be alright if it was nearby and you owned a van. You can search for the auction on goggle if yr interested.
