Hellbents or Bent Chetlers?

Thinking of selling my Hellbents and picking up some Bent Chetlers. I liked the Hellbent. Basically, I want a very nice powder ski that can handle crud. I also want a ski that is going to be decent for cliffs and drops as well as charge very well. Thanks.

idk there may be some better options than the bent chetler that you may want to look at (JJ, s7, other 5 dimensional designs). The 5 dimensional, early rise designs are gonna work better on crud and hardpack for sure. I've actually rode on groomers with the hellbent too and I guess it is do-able but it can get annoying. So basically, because the helbent with its reverse camber, can be really limited, looking into 5 dimensional ski could really help

Let me help you. The Hellbent does not have reverse camber. The JJ is also essentially the same ski as the BentChetler, I think they are even made in the same factory. Same construction, similar dimensions. As for the original question, the BentChetler would be a much better choice than Hellbents if you wanted a ski that could handle more crud, charge more, and hold a better edge. Others to consider would in fact be the JJ, if you liked it's dimensions/topsheet/rocker more, and I would obviously add the Surface One Life (LL2). Even the New Life, Im gonna grab a pair of those soon because I like the dimensions more than the One Life. Surface says they are basically a lighter, stiffer, livelier, symmetrical Hellbent. Sounds sick. Both those, BentChetlers, and the JJ would be better alternatives for a stiffer, rockered powder ski that could handle more drops and crud.

I would definitely go with the Bentchetler.. they are so sick in pow and will hold up way better on groomers and even in the park than a floppy hell bent! Good Luck finding a pair at a good price .. They are their most popular ski this year and Atomic is sold out of them. They are available here though....

The Bentchetlers look like really solid skis.
