Where is it going next year? siwtch rodeos and mistys seam to be norms in comps now and lets face it corks and rodeos are commen thses days. Where will it go cuse there needs to be new tricks, what will they be?

there is no defined progression cause if we say a specific trick or a form of goin inverted, everyone will be throwin it, progression is doin ur own thing, and changing it for everyone but doing it urself..dont live by someone else's ideas

i think like snowboarding and other sports, its going to kinda 'flatten out' for a while. no huge progression of the sport, but the improvement of the execution of the trick and a smoother style.

there will be no 'new tricks' just more tech stuff, and grabs will get longer, and sicker. I bet in 3 years the pros will do like switch cork 10 nose grabs off like a 70 foot table... also there will be more combos like the wilson flip... rails will be bigger and burlier...9 kinks... but the tables will stay the same at 50-80 feet but the tricks will be sooo stylie and big and pretty.

it would be cool to have a roller coaster rail but have the top of the middle hump choped out so u have to gap it. that would be nuts. I think there will also be alot more step ups to rails

to do a cork onto a rail, the rail setups in parks would have to change, but as far as jumps i think for now its the progression is gonna stick with style. but thats just me

I agree with Skiierman.. i mean look at freestyle motocross for example.. they got to a certain point where they had not real 'new' tricks just combos and variations of the old ones... then all the sudden thes guys started pullin out backflips and cork 3's on 250lb motorbikes.. thats prolly whatll happen with skiing..

ummmmmmm progresssion isn't going to stop at all. Didnt anyone here notice the obvious? BUTTERS? I mean wholey shit nose and tail butters off big tables with grabs is def the next level. I can't wait to see that shit. Also more butter vartions on rails and shit. Plus more tech grabs in bigger spins. We don't need to see corks onto rails, thats really not progression just good for a clip for the opening of a movie.

Who cares, I know where I'm going to be progressing to. As for the PROS... candide's segment in RFA shows all those smooth presses into rotations, that was sweet. No idea what else will happen, but I'm sure something will come out next year that will blow people's minds.

You know that 100 foot flat rail there was at Copper? It would be sick to see a 100 or more foot kinked rail, like a sweet Flat-Down thats 100 feet long. I think Tail and Nose presses are going to come into the game alot more. That would be awesome too see.

Honestly, I think that off-axis spins are gonna be going out of style pretty soon. I think straight spins with good body position and grabbed the entire way, instead of for 270 degrees in a 900 is gonna be key in the next wfew years

Yea definitely the amount of tricks going into a rail, while on the rail, and coming out of it will change, for the better. Plus you can't say that the sport won't progress, mainly because of the fact that every year the equipment alone progresses soooo much. The industry technically helps the sport progress because products get better and allow for bigger n better things, park designers make sicker and more insane rails and park hits every year that make the pros push it more n more. Plus the movement toward controlled flex in skis is going to be a big influence. I can't wait to see tanner and pep(and they aren't the only ones) hitting boxes with a 180 and landing in a manual and carrying that manual along the whole box whether it be a tail or nose press. Or hitting a rail with the bindings at least four inches away from the rail while pressing it so hard. To me that is just sick n sexy and I want to see it so bad and you know you do too. You just wait and see fellas.
