Final Setup. Feedback?

I've been doing research for quite some time now trying to figure out what new setup I want this year because my old one isn't quite cutting it anymore. So here are the possibilities I'm loooking at, any suggestions?
*Ordered by most liked to least liked*

Skis:
Liberty LTE's 171
Armada T-Halls 171


Bindings:
4frnt Deadbolt 15
Salomon STH 14
Marker Jester


Boots:
Full Tilt Classic Model
some Salomon boot, I had the 2007 SPK Pro Models and liked them but i don't know if I want the same ones this year.

About Me:
I'm about 5'9" weigh about 140 lbs, and I do probably 90% park, the only time I don't is basically when I'm vacation to bigger mounatins. My level of difficulty is I basically try any rail and I got real comfortable hitting booters last season.

have you tried on boots in a shop yet? because i wouldn't arbitrarily order boots based on  their current popularity i.e. full tilts.

Yeah the boots are the iffy part. I have yet to go to a legit ski shop that has good boots for me to try on. The only one that gets good stuff is about an hour and a half away from me. I plan on heading up next weekend to take a look.

And thanks! haha I haven't bought a new setup in about 3 years and worked full time all summer so I thought I'd treat myself.

Are you looking for help picking 1 of each or just saying that you're getting all of those?

If just one:

Skis: couldn't go wrong with either on, I would lean more twords the T-Halls, but that's just me.

Bindings: Consider Griffons instead or Jesters, you really don't need that high of a din and they'll be cheaper (but they're made of plastic instead of metal so...)

Boots: TRY THEM ON FIRST - pick which ever fits better (if the SPKs fit before, it's probably gonna be those again)

i would go with the LTEs and sth 12s. also i cant really help you with boots cause its all about feel. i dont really think you need the sth 14s either unless you are gonna grow alot. 12 din should be plenty

If i was you i would pick a longer ski, 171 is kinda short for someone 5'9". Both skis would be good choice for all park.

You have some bomber gear picked... with that said have you thought about longer skis? Like the 176 THall or the 178 Liberty? With your height, you could easily rock a longer length. After months of deciding on skis, I am going Liberty LTEs this year... came down to getting the better deal. Your choice man.

Bindings. NS loves jesters... I kinda like them too.

Hmm Consider the Head Mojo 15? Super solid binding and you can find pretty good deals on last years models right now too.

looks like any of those choices are solid OTHER than the boots.


spk's or fulltilts? those are totally different options there. definitely go to a shop and get fitted, get the boot that fits your foot, not the boot that you were set on before you walked in. boots make your setup more than anything else.

Thanks everyone for the input!

With the skis, at the moment im still kind've leaning torwards the LTE's although everyday I seem to be changing my mind.

Bindings is my hardest decision, looking at the bindings thread I think I'm actually going to elimate the deadbolts because of their weight. Im now looking at the Marker Griffon as stated above, the Jesters, the Salomon STH 12/14 and the Salomon Z12 Ti (Being the lightest).

The only reason I'd like to get STH 14's over 12's is because I got pre-ejected A LOT last year, given the bindings were shitty Look ones that I got for a deal on getboards. I didn't wanna risk having to deal with pre-releases again.

And for boots, as stated I plan to go to my closest shop and go crazy trying boots on, I was giving a general idea. SPK's just because they fit great and Full Tilts just because my brother has a pair and he absoultely loves them. I do plan on trying on every boot I see. I only stated those to see if ppl were having any issues with them because I haven't heard of any as of yet.

The LTE's are a great ski, but get them in a 178. 171 will be too small for you. I'm 5'8" and ski the 178. If you go for the T-Halls, get the 181.

As for bindings, the STH 14's can be a bitch with the adjustable toe piece. You may find yourself messing around with it a lot if you start ejecting when you should not. Is the Mojo 15 in your budget? Or the Jester. Both solid bindings.

And there are other park boots out their besides Full Tilts and Salomon. Nordica makes as solid park boot, and will have an amazing three buckle park boot out next year. Tecnica Agent series as well as the Dalbello Kryptons are both good series of boots.

most likely you're DIN will be around an 8 or 9, so getting a 14 is a little over kill in my opinion. I have griffons and I've never had a problem with pre-releases so I'd highly recommend those.

The skis are a tough choice, they are both super sick - like I said before, you can't go wrong with either. I think the THalls will be a little softer and the LTEs will be a little snappier. But both are plenty poppy and buttery.

Yeah the jesters are starting to sound like the best binding. There Din goes up to 16 (which is more than I need, but I feel better getting those than the griffens because the griffens only go up to 12). And the LTE's.

And yeah boots.....

The griffons sound great too. theyre the lightest binding I can find and seem very promising. In the end it will probably be one of those two. If the problem with my old bindings were that they were shitty like I thought then I will deffiantly end up with the Griffons. I mean lighter and cheaper?!

And whats does a snappier ski mean? hehe

yeah, I really don't think you need a 16 DIN - especially since you're just gonna end up with it on one of the lower settings (just having a binding with a higher DIN capability doesn't mean you're gonna have a higher DIN).

Snappy = More rebound energy when ollieing or nollieing, so it'll give you more pop and a more responsive ollie/nollie.

you really dont need the jester. you arent heavy enough at all. the griffon should be plenty for you. or as someone mentioned, the mojo 15 is a solid binding.

I have jesters and they're so sick. But honesty griffins get the job done almost exactly the same as jesters. My bro has griffins, and he likes em just the same. I'm only skiing like din 9 anyway, so I really don't need the din 16. Also griffins are a little lighter, which is a small plus.

im pretty much in complete compliance with everyone else in this thread, good choice on skis, I'd go LTE, longer warranty, bamboo core, dope skis, you can get away going 178, which you'll be more comfortable in the long run (more stability on rails and landings)- griffons over all the other bindings (lighter weight, you don't need all that din, and good luck breaking them)- and go try on boots!

hurray for thought and decision in your thread, there's too many kids on here that need to learn the value of searching for your own answers.

Both of those skis are awesome. I'd steer you toward the LTEs though. I like the flex better and they are definitely snappy as shit.

Bindings don't really matter all that much as long as the DIN is high enough for your level. All those choices seem pretty solid. Find the best price.

Boots are all about fit. Definitely go to a good shop that has a few of those models and see what will work best for your foot. That's super important.

Wow thanks everyone for the input. Im planning on getting the griffens and considering everyone is telling me to go up a notch, the Liberty LTE's in a size 178. And I'm heading out to the best ski shop around next weekend to try on boots.
