ive got a 2nd generation ipod nano, was skiing the other night and when i came off the slopes it was giving me the message "firewire connections are not supported. please connect usb. press center to dismiss" but this message wouldn't go away. so i did a bit of internet searching and it seemed the answer was to do a system restore. i did that and the message went away. however now my ipod won't update and won't turn off either. any ideas? +k for any good help.
