High school dances

So, i've been recently selling promoting and selling dance tickets to my school for fundraiser. Now usually everyone usually goes pretty smashed to dances but there was announcement today that they would have breathalyzers at the door, now i'm wondering, is this legal to do? Now I'm going either way because i have to but i would like to have some brews in me if you know what i mean and I'm a bit sketched out now as i have already have a underage drinking incenetadent that i wasnt charged for, and i dont want to be charged.

So I'm wondering, will the school go through with this? I mean i know its illegal to do dog seaches and they tried that as a scare tatic last year, so im thinking this will be the same.

at my highschool the had breathlyzers but they only used them if you were all sloppy when you showed up just act as sober as you can while going into the dance and you should be fine

my proms doesn't care if you're drunk. We even have these sections where you can buy alcohol, if you're over 18. this is in norway though..

high school dances suck. one time i got accused for being high (i really wasn't) and got pulled in to the principals office.  Called my parents, threatened to search my car. I was like, go right ahead and search away. After they called my parents and my dad laughed, it was over. i was home the whole day.

i can guarantee you they will not breathalyze every kid that walks through the doors.

they will only breathalyze you if acting like a dumb fuck and stumbling everywhere.

basically drink a bit before, get a buzz. just act cool, then get hammered afterwards

side note: i once got kicked out of a dance cause my shirt said "Blacks Pub and Restaurant" Apparently i was promoting alcohol........

just get baked, it makes dances way more fun anyways, especially for me because when i'm either drunk or high i just start dancing and i dance like there's no tomorrow

when i was in highschool (wow i sound old, even though it was 2 years ago) we tolerated it danced a bit then hit the after party and got smashed...much easier. or, we skipped the dance went to the "before" after party, pregammed and by the time all the dance folk came we were pretty trashed that was also a blast.

They would say this at my school every year and before every dance but they never went through with it. The only people that would get caught we the belligerent ones. I just wouldn't do it, it's not worth it for a school function
