Switch takeoffs with alpha 1

is it actualy a lot eisier to take off switch without catching your tips when riding the alpha 1s im trying to decide if i should get the alpha 1s or the new t-halls im leaning towords the t-halls i like the feeling of the flex pattern, any help would be great

this years alpha 2 :)

that's one of the things the rocker is supposed to prevent - catching tips on switch takeoffs, because of the early rise it's much harder to catch tips on the lip of jumps.

The Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 are different skis that are both available this year.

wow, nobody really even answered his question.

I have heard good things about Alphas no catching tips coming off jumps switch, but I have not personally ridden them. I do know they have a very different feel than traditional park skis, this is why I was always so tentative to try them. Also, the tip and tail rocker is not even near symmetrical, there is a much much larger tip rocker. That's another weird thing about them, because it wouldn't really work to dead centermount them, because you'd have uneven running surface. So to answer your question, yes, it helps, but is it enough of a help to accept all the weird things about it? I don't know.

yes this i know.

i ment if hes talking about this years alpha ones, then he should get alphas twos instead
but if he was talking about last last years alpha 1s then he should get between the two skis that he said.

i just didnt know if he was taklng about this years or last years alpha 1s. and im saying if he has the money for this years alpha 1s he should go with the 2s
