Cause honestly everyone I know who has had those had nothing but problems. Maybe you're thinking of FKS that are always stoked for?

^ Ive been around in this industry for a decent amount of time and I will honestly say that when they discontinued that binding I was pissed because it was my favorite binding. I love the FKS as well IF i find it for a good deal. But I never once had a problem with p12s, the px12 heel is absolute crap and I think most people will agree they have had some issue with them. I mean the fuckin heel does NOT move at all, of course it will break. The old heel gave enough but kept me in place and saved me MANY times. I heard Dynastar/Look stopped making them to save money. I mean thats just personal experience overall with the binding.

agreed...my p12s are still going strong after years of use with no problems, along with my fks155s, but ive broken several pairs of px's

You know me and mine are still rollin strong. I never had a problem and i been riding them mad long.

youve gotta be joking. theyre priced at 179 and the price will go down? dude i went to a ski swap last saturday and there were at least 10 pairs of skis with pivots all ranging in price between 25 bucks and 75 bucks. theyre not that hard to find and i ve seen em go for less on ebay. now if they were fks....

Don't they have problems with not releasing when they're supposed to? Conor is afraid of his because they were the reason he tore his ACL (no, his DIN was not too high), and he's tweaked his knees a lot since then too.

MIne were always good but my DIN wasnt cranked and forward pressure was good.

Now that I think of it I did have knee problems that year too

release works the same on all look/rossi p/px/fks bindings. the heel on each is designed so that on a lateral release, your leg pivots along the tibial axis, regardless of whether the heel piece itself is actually moving, i rode px14s all last season on my disorderly's and the only thing i didnt like about them was that the heel is higher off the ski than on my fks's. they beefed up the heels a bit on the newer px's, but that's the real draw to the px. the heel is bombproof aside from the brakes, and they sit like 4mm off the ski, so you get much better rail feel with them. having skied px's and fks's, i wouldnt bother with the old p series bindings anymore, they ski like shit compared to the px or fks.
