heres one you would like, mk 1 rabbit with a mk2GTI gear box mated to a 9a(mk3) bottom end with a 8v head = perfect

I had a chance to buy 3 rabbits, 2 of which being gti's, and a 9a longblock for 500$ but i didnt have a trailer at the time to tow them all back, so unfortunately i let them go :(   *tear 
it would have been an awesome project. I definatly think a 9a swap is the way to go, from what i hear, with a cam, they put out around 130hp+, which is awesome for a mk1 rabbit, tons of power for how light they are. I would want an LSD up front for sure, it wold smoke hondas left righ and center.
