Replying to hopefully the last sponsorship thread ever
i see tons of threads on here about people looking to get sponsored. if you're skiing to get sponsored then please quit right now and give someone your skis who rides for the pure pleasure of it! a lot of you come on here saying 'im good enough to be sponsored so how do i do it?' well guys the harsh reality of it, is that sponsors are asking 'who can be more than a billboard for our gear?' so what if you can stomp a d-spin, rodeo 7, and a 9? you need to differentiate yourself from everyone else out there. give them a reason to sponsor you other than the skills you boast about. skiing to one's sponsors is a business and they won't sponsor you just because you can ski well. for example, how many of you would even consider buying armada's if they didn't have tanner, jp, jf, boyd and others? they're out there to promote the company, not just to ski. sponsors will come to you if they think you're worth it.
