Uuum, I only saw one sexist post before your post.
This belongs in the B/S/T forum, there's no way around it.  People on NS are dicks to new members a lot of times regardless of the color of their name, get over it.

Well, you brought up the word chick in your post.  When you do that it seems like you blame everything on sexism to me.  I could be wrong, but IMO it's best to leave out the comments talking about your "anti-sexism side" when you aren't talking about sexism.  You could have easily said that NSers are dicks to new members and people wouldn't make assumptions.

In her first thread, someone posted the noob guide to newschoolers which pretty much covers how a noob should navigate NS.  I don't have much sympathy when people blatantly ignore good help.

/rant like post.

In your post you said something to the effect of "first couple people".  My post is the second post.  Blinking Afro Icon Dude (sorry man, can't remember your name), yes, was a wee bit harsh but told her where to go to get a question answered.  And the first thing I noticed was the several blinking icons and how something like that could cause someone to seize, with some seriousness, and a bit of a joke.  Steezeepolize and gregorio then agreed with me to turn it into more of a joke because, well, this IS NSG where nothing ever really stays on topic the way people want it too.

SO, in conclusion.  I think you are making a big deal out of nothing.
