Are they durable, and can you ride them just as well all mountain?

they are unchanged from last year so they still have those durability isues they had last year.

Trust me, they are as bad as 4frnt build quality used to be.

I have used them moderately for just under a season, and there is no topsheet edge left. My skis now go topsheet, exposed fibre glass, then sidewall. The topsheet really is not durable at all, and a lot less so than all the other sidewall construction skis I've ridden.

Also, the base material seem to be very thin. I have a cracked edge, and the P-Tex around it seems to have just been worn away, exposing the core.

They were good while they lasted' a nice, light ski. But they quickly started to fall apart after a couple of months.

Unchanged from last year apart from a new thing they've inserted which is like fishing wire criss-crossing underneath the base of the ski holidng the edges in, if you pick up a ski you can see it through the clear parts in the P-Tex, however i can just think of the horror of having the edge come out only to find razor sharp wire flicking up into your face.

They had "edge armour" last year too" the amount of wire was the only difference between Suspects and Dumonts. I found the edge armour useless to be honest. My edges blew out quicker than any other ski i've ever owned.

actually Salomon makes their sksi in a new manufacturing plant beacuse of the durability issues of last year so they hopeefully will be better

i have dumonts and during the second year i lost edges but that is to be expected i honestly love salomon and think that you should get a pair, because i have also herd they are being made at a better plant. hope this helps
