Things that make me happy:

Life. Not that I enjoy every day, a lot of it can be shitty, but then there are days where the world is beautiful. Gosh that sounds so gay.

Car + scenery, like my drive around Taos yesterday.

Piano. Been playing since I was a kid, can't do without it.

People. People suck most of the time, but sometimes you have a set of like-minded people you hang out with called friends. Then there is family, which is more complicated.

Travel. I'm an addict, been on six continents, want to see more more more.

Powder, especially untouched powder. It's positively orgasmic.

And much more.

happy: longboarding, driving around, listening to music driving around, drawing, counseling sessions, watching longboarding or skiing movies, adrenaline (although lately nothing feeds the addiction) working (alone for my dad, or when im not getting treated like shit at my regular job)

unhappy. my mom, then rest of my family, all my friends being gone, getting treated like shit at work, being single and living in a mall city where all the girls go to the next city 1h.5 away for university

my family. this includes my gf too since we've been dating for years. (no marriage until after grad school)

my true friends...like the ones that would honestly die for you.  the ones that know everthing about you...good and bad and they're still your friend.

skiing.  there's no feeling in the world compared to blue bird skies and waist deep fluff. 

learning new & useful shit.  my grandpa once told me that once you stop learning, you might as well be dead.  i was 12 or so at the time, but it seemed to make complete sense even at such a young age.  it's always stuck with me.
