Yes or no to the ps3

ok so my dad keeps reminding me that the ps3 is now only 299 bucks and its a really good deal has all the cool features, blah blah blah... but i dont know if its realiable ppl have been telling me that it breaks a ton and i should just go with the xbox 360 so what do you think?? PS3 OR XBOX 360??

PS3 ftw. skate 2 is way better, you dont have to pay for online gaming, resistance, uncharted, it's basically awesome.

I bought my PS3 about a month after it came out.  I will haveba  game freeze once in awhile but its the game freezing cause I check around online and other people are having the same problems.  Buddy of mine, bought a 360 when I got my PS3, he has had probably 4 different 360s now cause of the red ring of death.

just get it. i'm gonna get a ps3 because my homie already has an xbox, and then later i'll get my own xbox. also i like bluray and gran turismo more than halo sooo...

Bought my ps3 a year and a half ago. Never had any problems, Love the FREE online gaming and there are some pretty good games. The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't have Halo which i enjoy playing on my friends 360 but it's not that big deal for me.

You should have posted both articles.  The one for the 360 and the other one for the PS3.  That is a one sided article with nothing to compare it to about the good things on the PS3.

theres a new 2010 skiing game coming out that i read about in a gaming article for the ps3 featuring tom wallisch simon dumont and tanner hall!!! sounds tight!!!

Like, from screenshots it looked like it could be somewhat realistic so that I would have something to remind me of snow outside of my ski vids and then I turn it on.  And it is basically a realistic looking version of SSX.  Bottomless crevasses and shit like that.  What made it worse was I had a ACL injury last fall that seriously fucked up the amount I could ski.  SUCH a letdown.

get the ps3...I also got mine right after they came out and have never had an issue.  Free online is awesome, it sucks most people have xbox so you can't play your friends as much but whatever online against strangers almost just as good.  Games are tight, they finally have rumble controllers which took too goddamn long.  I have zero regrets and I paid twice as much as they are now, id get another if I ever had to.

if you don't have friends and are only going to play online occasionally and watch some bluray movies get a ps3

if you have friends with xbox and are going to be spending the majority of your time playing online get a 360.

I'll be his friend on ps3. but dude i would say get the ps3. I bought mine 2 years ago and I haven't found anything to really complain about that really blew my mind and pissed me off. So i think its a good deal.
