Replying to Making a rail for my backyard setup

as the title says. if this is in the wrong forum sorry. i have a 10 ft long piece of satellite tower(pics) and some tin from my roof that we just replaced. i think that i can just wrap the tin around the tower piece and voila. i have to do this because there are studs sticking out that hold the bars together. an alternatve would be to buy a piece of pvc and place it on the top bar of the tower piece but i have the tin and am frankly quite cheap. opinions? and feel free to leave pics of your soon to be backyard setup if youd like.
