yeah im kinda interested too. all i know is that its like an hour from silver mountain which from what i hear is pretty sick. anyone got any better info?

crazy party school.  as far as silver goes its fun but nothin too specail depends what kind of skiing your into.  they got a sickass indoor waterpark tho.

silver blows ass, but yeah im probably gonna go to u of i in a couple years, but their environmental sciences school, which isn't in CDA

schweitzer is way better and only like 20 minutes farther than silver

We met a group of sorority girls from there at lake havasu one year.  Fucking crazy chicks all of them.  Pretty much turned into an orgy I would suggest it for the girls alone.

if you like to party, into the frat scene, and all that jazz it might be cool for you....theres just nothing else to do I hear besides getting fucked up...and your close to wazzu which is also a big party school.

I go to Boise State and enjoy the slower pace of things and being closer to Utah. Plus we have a pretty fun mountain only 30min away, brundage, tamarack (if they re-open) sun valley and soldier mountain all within a few hours.

how about do you want a college education? do you not want to pay $40,000 a year to go to Boulder? Do you want to ski legit resorts that are way less crowded than CO?

If you are going there to party you might as well go to wazzu, it's 7 miles away and is ten times better in all areas of academics, facilities, and partying, and you wont have to live in idaho.

silver is about 2.75 hrs away, and sucks ass.  Schweitzer is 3.5 hrs away and is ok, nothing special but a fun mtn. 

UI is the semi-retarded younger brother of WSU and as such is slightly worse in every aspect.  Its academics, athletics, facilities, and faculty are all worse than WSU's, some by alot. 

Also if you go to any college you''re gonna find cute girls, but at larger schools with big greek life, you find more.  UI is a fairly small school. 

Also moscow and the campus smells like cow shit 95% of the time because of the cow manure research center.  It is a rediculously hick school as well.  soooooo much camo and cabellas.

My advice, is to see if you can get scholarships to other schools.  Don't go if you hate the school but love the money, because even though i love pullman, it can be a tough place to live day in day out for 9 months of the year.  i can't imagine if i didn't like WSU. 

Spark notes: skiing is okay but far away, super hick lower level college, see about financial aid elsewhere.

Actually no i do not wish i went to CU. UofU is 25 mins from park city and alta and slc is a dope place. I'm not tryin to drive 2-3 hours every time i want to ski and then also not be able to ski legit(alta/bird) terrain.

Ok so all my friends from high school go to University of Idaho.  The town and school is known for partying/greek system.  I wouldn't classify it as hick by any means.  No good sports teams and nothing to do in town.  One golf course if you like that.  No fishing/hunting/rock climbing/hiking/mtn. biking/skiing close by.  The best skiing is Schweitzer which would be at least 2hr30min from Moscow and more with adverse weather by probably an hour.  Also you most likely will never meet any sick skiers there.  I didn't go there because the only thing everyone cares about is getting fucked up and to me that's fucked up.  I love to go drink but I don't live for it like those kids.

Better than being in Cheney with only 49 north, or Mt Spokane within an hour. Or Silver/Schweitzer that is close to 2 hours. And if you are a local, you know where you can speed. SSSSSOOOOOOOO, shut the fuck up. I can make it to Baker from my parents house in Bellingham in 45 minutes. Don't make assumptions about me like a dumb piece of shit.

yeah. if you want info on U of I, listen to Idahoans. we know our shit. seeing as we have only two legitimate colleges in the entire fucking state. still. Idaho is heaven. at least south Idaho.
