**modern warfare 2 info**

some of this info some of you may know. some may not. i will post some vids and some info upon mw2. if its a repost, w.e, if its not good. this isnt one vid so most are not reposts.

GN has posted some preview images of the first edition of the upcoming six-part comic book mini-series, Modern Warfare 2 Ghost. The first issue of the series will debut on November 11, a day after the release of MW2


  • The spawning system has been improved to prevent spawns in danger, in front of enemies, etc.
  • Some new videos will be released before the game ships.
  • There are single shot rifles that start with just iron sights, but there are more unlockable attachments.
  • Mines won't be featured in multiplayer.
  • Mounted MG’s still remain on certain maps.
  • Infinity Ward is working on some Xbox avatar clothes.
  • In Special Ops, there will be secret war rooms in certain missions where you can swap out/reload weapons.
  • You can't customize your multiplayer character model, because it's determined by the classes’ loadout.

    like i said, i have two xboxs. ones mine, ones my brothers and i dont like sharing my gamertag with him cuz he gives me a bad kdr. also, if we only had one copy, there would be too much fighting over who's playing and who's not.

    i think k/d won't be as big as a factor in mw2...i mean i never look to deep into it in the first place i mean my buddy who is a gold cross almost at his 100,000 point has terrible k/d because he lets all his buddies play it.

    I think in mw2 it will be sweet because of those call cards and you get specific titles for what kind of player you are

    yeah. Mines are the only way to make sniping possible on any game without a MASSIVE map. So this will basically eliminate the ability to do true sniping, unless there are a million hiding spots no one will know where you are, no kill cam, and no radar. I don't like taking them out. Just modify it so its harder to just lay out and catch a stray runner.

    yea, call signs are sick. but mlg for cod4 is mainly about kdr but for mw2 its gonna be more focused on specialists; sniper, riot shielder man, helicopter taker downer. haaha.

    My sniper class of late is m40 and dessert eagle with fragx3, stopping power and steady aim. I used to use claymores and iron lungs a lot but I find that you can snipe just as well without them, if not better. With claymores camping in one spot is a good way to die after 4 or 5 kills, it's way better having the ability to move around and get the kill streaks. Steady aim is a huge help with the dessert eagle or if you pick up an smg.

    Can't wait for mw2, gonna be so insane. New weapons, perks, attachments and higher kill streaks. I used to get to 7 kills, die on purpose because there was nothing higher and then call in a helicopter when I respawn and do it over again. With kill streaks up to 15 it should be way better.

    dude no mines is AWESOME. snipers have plenty of advantages as it is. you dont need 2 (TWO!!) mines to place ANYWHERE (usually hidden as fuck) so that nobody can possibly come from behind you while youre lying prone in some abandoned house killing people with each squeeze of the trigger

    you did mention modifying them though. i could live with that. you shouldnt get 2 of them, first of all, and also i think you shouldnt be able to place them in concrete and shit that make no sense. you cant just throw down a claymore that is hidden in concrete
