I tried to get some info on mojo bindings and almost only found some on the mojo 15. A Head rep told me that the mojo 12 is as good as the mojo 15 just with a lower din so he told me to go with the 12. So I went with the mojo 12 even if I know its not as good but it was a lot cheaper. Can anyone tell me if its a good bindings or should I have gone with the mojo 15 ? +K for any help.
dins past twelve are insane unless your just super pro or just like the hulk. there was an article in powder magazine about seth morrison and if i remember right he starts at din 9 at the beggining of the season and then works up to 14 for stuff like ak because "you dont want your shit popping off in ak". the lower din binding are definatly the better value, im not sure about head but most other bindings like griffins and jesters are exactly the same just with different sized springs. comapnys that make bindings that have like 18 dins are ridiculous. most really good skiers out there arnt the size of michael moore.
it all depends on your ability and how hard you ride.
if your dins are like 7-8, then the 15 is obviously not necessary. i have the deadbolt 12s which are the exact same as mojo 12s and i ride at 9. in addition, park and pow are different cause lots of people riding powder go higher on dins. both 12 and 15 have pivot heels. but i read today that the 15 is all metal? i am really not sure so confirm on this before you take my word.
Thanks. Yeah I don't really ride powder I spend may days in the park doing mostly rails and small jumps. I had rossi race bindings that went to 12 and I used them at 10 and they worked great but since mojo bindings are different I wasn't sure.
