i own timeshare at shipyard in hilton head. i like it better than florida.. theres no disney land though. its got a realllly nice beach, its always warm. golf tennis. the works.. and it smells cool in the morning. id reccomend it to anyone.

I grew up a few hours from there and use to go fairly often. It's a pretty nice place. It's kind of low key during certain times of the year. The beaches are nice, but don't expect a raging bar scene or anything. If you like golf then you are set. There is some really nice restaraunts. There is a lot of hot, young, tourist chicks looking to get out from under mommy and daddies wing, so you take advantage of that.

hilton head is so awesome.....its only like 4 hrs from my house........go to the salty dog cafe and the oyster house........it has so many fine girls.... and good shopping and golf too...... youre gonna love it

ive been. golf is amazing there. and they have wicked tennis courts. i had a great time there. id say go. take a longboard to. no hills but the trail is fun to rip around on

the salty dog cafe sucks dick hahaha. i've been coming here for like 10 years now atleast 2 - 3 times a year, we went there one time ever and it was shit. raddest skate park here if you skate at all, surfing is beat unless you go to the one spot and it's a good day and golf = amazing.

I try to stay away from the Salty Dog, it's a total tourist trap. Which plantation are you in? My grandparents are in Sea Pines so that's where I stay when I go to Hilton Head.

i went there every year for 18 years.. so i would highly recommend it! great place, and its pretty well known so you can find some hotties for sure. best place to find girls is to hop from pool to pool with a friend or two ha just go you wont be bored. make sure you take a bike so you get some freedom.. rent one if you have too its worth it. we stayed at a place called fazio which is purdy dank itself. better than hotels for sure.

Yup. My family has been goin there for 23 years now. We know it like the back of our hand. The one place you need to go for dinner is The Oyster Factory. Try to get a window seat. The view is amazing and the food is great and MAKE SURE YOU GET THE HUSH PUPPIES! They are under new management now and the place is going up. You'll probably have to wait if its during the tourist months.

I has timeshare in Port Royal, quite fun and the golf is awesome. Go to the Old Oyster Factory for dinner or lunch it's pretty good and not as touristy as the Salty Dog.

i go to hilton head for a couple weeks every other summer and i fucking love it. make sure to go crabbing in the canals next to the roads; and you can castnet for shrimp in the close by inlets. since it is a private resort kinof, no need to worry about dapoleese. get cised!

it's real quiet here right now, and nah, we've been coming here for awhile now and we don't go to salty dog or oyster factory or any of those touristy places, their food is pretty beat and there is always a wait. next time anyone is in town make sure to hip up New York City Pizza down by Coligny and hit up Sea Shack on Pope. Both of these places are pretty low key but have BANGIN food. I'm staying in Port Royal oceanfront right now.

^Well Ive been going for 17 years and I still don't really mind them too much, Ive been to Sea Shack but not NYC Pizza so I'll have to check that out next spring. And Port Royal is pretty sick as well

haha i was there monday night, had some good as beef tips, all the artwork inside of that restaurant is sick. deffinitly one of the better restaurants that i have eaten at this week, red fish is good too. i'm here til sunday!

New York City Pizza is THE BIG pizza joint on the Island.

I agree with the Salty dog. Extremely touristy and overrated.

The Old oyster factory is popular with the people who have been going there for years. You won't find people who are new to the island. So yeah its kinda touristy, but its a vacation island for the most part so its the best you'll get.
