sooo true. I'm working on a batch that I picked last weekend, and I bit into a red one. It was wayyyy to soft, I almost barfed. Crisp, granny smiths are awesome. I also like the red and yellowish ones, dont remember the name. winesap? emperor?

i work at an orchard with 3k+ apple trees.

do you guys grow apples over there, or do you have to import them? seems like a stupid question but I'm curious. Coming from New England, it's hard to imagine having to import apples in, but I just want to get an idea of what you live like.

my favorites are fujis.  hands down.  i also like pink ladies. 
i CANNOT stand any type of "delicious" apples.  they are groosss.
