so im going to wales on a tour with my school and we will also be going to london, i have never been there before so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where to go.

go visit the museum, with the see-through bathroom exhibit that had a thread recently. im going to london as well and im gonna try to go see it

LOndon isnt that great. go to carnaby street off oxfordstreet if you wonna go shopping. South bank is good for skating and if you brave go to Camden. Its the crazy'st place ever. full of freaks and smack heads. Have fun.

go to both the Tate Modern (wicked!) and Tate Britain art museums. If you can, get stoned before the Tate Modern...its ridiculous. Other than that, take the train up to Edinburgh and visit me.
Oh yeah, and enjoy the 18 y.o. drinking age and loads of good beer.
PS- the English chicks dig Americans -take advantage! (say you're a pro skier)

If youre there on a sunday, you have to go to the church...easy, its not a real church, just a killer bar on sunday morning where you buy beer in a bag (actually the beer is in cans but you carry it around in a bag since a ticket buys 3 beers) tons of aussies S africans etc killer place to go. After that head down to the backpacker pub to kill the rest of the afternoon. Did I mention that they have drinking games, girls get naked, and they usually have a stripper that comes on just after 12. Get off the tube at kings cross youll find your way from there. You wont regret it!!!

thats^ a good point. go to tate modern then plant your self in the pub for rest of the holiday. drinking laws are relaxed here. Londons a fucking rip off so bring loads of cash.

Go get some fish and chips, a real British dish, then go to the pub and drink the afternoon away. Or go down the East end and get shot. Great fun. Mind you, southeners are a load of lager drinking puffs, come up north for a real taste of England and beer.

the soccer in england can get pretty crazy, so that'd be fun even if ur not a huge soccer fan. There are sum really nice museums too if ur into that shit, and lots of fatty greasy fish and chips

i was there during the world cup. i was in trafalgers(sp?) square and all of a sudden i heard screaming and crazy chanting and then all of a sudden there was thousands of koreans...i thought north korea was invading, but then i realized they had just won their soccer match that day.

OK I was in London about thre weeks ago. Yeah Cambden is def an interesting place to visit, but its worth it for a bit of culture! Also check out Churchills War Bunker, I know it sounds kinda old and stupid but it was actually really good. Carnaby street is cool and if you want a swish place to eat/drink go to East@West in Covent Gardens (my friend works there, they make great cocktails). Also checkout out Lord's and Abby Road plus all the other touristy stuff.

Get on one of the double decker busses with no roof, and take the tour of the city.
We got on one in trafalgar square, it's like 2 hours, and you see most everything.
2 kids waved at us from inside buckingham palace.
