best movie ever!! im ubsessed....the soundtrack isn't that bad either. actually i just had fun making fun of the hairy men in it but it was really well made

It was great, saw it twice, can't wait for the next one. Read the books aswell, they are boetter than the movie. Not by a lot but still better.

The movie was awesome! (I saw it twice!) The books are way better though. I've read them like three times.

i was happy that the movie didn't cut out too much of the bits from the books but they did cut Tom Bombadil. he was like my favourite character

yeah it is a great movie, I have a copy of it so watch it all the time, it's rad, and I saw some un-released footage from the two towers so that was cool too, great stuff.

i agree w/ you teethi...i couldn't read the books...too boring and confusing. but i saw the movie 4 times...obviously i liked it...

i must agree - best movie EVER!!! i was almost passing out from tireness when we decided to put it on. I found myself lost in the movie for the whole time amazed by how good it was... at the end I just wanted more. it pisses me off though that the 2nd one has been done for a while but is just sitting around collecting dust - SHOW IT TO US DAMNIT!

Yo Darryl, the 2nd one isn't done yet I don't think, they're still workign on CGI and all that, it's all being done down here in New Zealanad, I dunno though, ask my sister, she knows freakin' everything there is to know about LOTR

This coming December the next one comes out, and then the next December for the last one. Such a good movie!!! I couldnt even finish the first book though, 300 pages in and nothing had happened yet. I had to abandon them, and all I read in my spare time is fantasy!

yeah, great flick. i saw it when it came out, a whole bunch of us cause most of us are into that stuff. it was great but our movie theater in the boat sucks hairy hobbit feet. then i saw it two weeks ago in Phoenix at a real theatre with stadium seating. a bazilion times better

I think I'm the only one in North America, possibly the world, who did not like this movie. granted, I don't like fantasy, havn't read the books, etc. but I just thought it was too long. The special effect and CGI were cool, but the novelty wore off after the first hour. It wasn't a bad movie, I just thought it was long.

The movie was awesome, but it left quite a bit of detail out from the book. If you havent read the series and loved the movie, I suggest you do. The books are amazing.

Fairygirl and linkray are right- the movie was sooo incredibly awesome, but it's the books that makes the whole thing so great, because you get to create it all yourself. Totally recommend reading the books to stimulate your mind, and watching the movie to stimulate your eyes and ears. But it's the best movie re-creation of a book that I've ever seen.

The books were sooo much better than the movie, and I loved the movie!!! I finished all three books in about three weeks. the next two that come out look soooo sweet!!

I read the first book when I was like 9( wow, I'm supprised of how much reading big books when I was young dad didn't help me at spelling) but my freind said it was a rad movie I'm to lazy to go to it and my girl freind isn't in to that shit anyway....
