^^ hahah that way is partly true though. i mean, if you are trying to act and dress gay, where are you headed? probably to homosexuality anyway. i think its really stupid. why would you try to be gay without actually being gay? it doesn't make sense. but, it is a bad thing because it promotes the idea that homosexuality is trendy. and it's not.

good or bad is besides the point, metrosexuality brings us yet another example of sexual variation - i.e. its not just straight, bi, or gay, this is just another level of sexuality. metrosexuality isn't limited to material interests, such as clothes and cologne, it also includes the blending of social and physical characterizations that we associate with those that we know as gay and straight. fuck, its just another step in understanding the spectrum of sexuality. pardon my anthrobabble.

Most of you are missing the 'metrosexual' point. It's about taking care of yourself and not looking like trash. It's about knowing your way around Holt Renfrew and designer clothing, so that you can look decent when you're out or doing business, and it's about not being dirty. Most of all, it's about getting laid by chicks. I'm pretty sure that's not a 'gay' thing to do, but I could be wrong...

its funny how all of a sudden sexuality has become part of a style...there's the whole ghetto phase, punk phase, hippie phase, normal dude phase. theyre all lifestyles, and at the end of the day guys who participate in them still want to get laid and feel good.

What the fuck guys, you all act as if it's a choice everyone makes. You don't choose to be gay, straight, or metrosexual.

It would be so much easier if I was gay. There's so many cooler guys out there, it would make life so much easier. But I'm not gay, like it or not.

A side note:

Metrosexual males are guys that talk and appear gay according to our stereotypes. I read a report on the amount of estrogen in drinking water, and it is extremely high, partly as a result of municipalities inability to filter it out when girls flush their birth control pills, or menstruate it back into the water supply. This causes many males to develop higher voices and develop feminine traits, such as feminine eyebrows, you know what I mean. Look at those gay guys eyebrows...they're not the same as most mens.

But thats just a theory.

Many more where that came from.

Like the breast hormones in chicken breasts causing 12 year old girls to become..overdeveloped and even causes males to 'grow' breasts.

Call me stupid, but looking good was never considered gay. And as far as I understand it, your manurisms (femmy voice, lisp, weak wrists, etc.) have nothing to do with if you are metrosexual or not. I think that this is just another case of wanting to over-classify people. We always want to put them in a catagory or in a group. I guess we just made a new one up for men that look nice. Thats it.
