alright i have the Line Invaderz i had for last season and this season possibly another half season or so after that but when i need to replace it I'm watching some certain skis. The invaders are a great jib ski slide rails super nice ans spin off them nice and rip down groomers. But ill probably keep it for an urban asssult ski to beat after i replace it i meen thats what it was made for isnt it? so im 5'4 flat footed bair foot, I way 107 pounds. I want a ski that rips in the pipe (my speacilty) does fine off jumps (70 feet at most). but on the rail acasion that i feel like coupling a couple of switch ups on some flat-down box the bases wont die. and finaly i was looking at the reverse camber in the alphas, becuase on a day we get some pow it will do ok... i have ridden invaderz in 4 feet of pow and the did alright not total floatation but it worked so thats why i like the rocker. so in other words i ski 50% pipe 20% rails 20% jumps 10% all mountain. so i want a ski that has good base and side protection for park a fast nice stiffer side almost for pipe and a rocker or some floation for some almountain/pow purpouses. Thanks a bunch :)

Alpha 1 or Pipe Cleaners would be awesome for you. They destroy the pipe and jumps (no matter how big) and have super fast bases that can handle rails (obviously they need to be waxed and maintained). As far as the rockered ski - I've heard they work fine in the pipe, but I'm not sure how well so you may want to consider the PC cause it will work super well in the pipe (It's the only pipe specific ski out there right now - besides the 6th sense superpipe but I'm not sure how good it is yet) and will give some floatation (not as much as a pow ski, but more that invaders). Hope that helps.

two completely different skis, different flex patterns, different construction. What are you looking to do? Chronics=stiff regular camber all mountain/jump ski, have them like them. Alpha 2 are Tip Rocker, jump ski with a moderate flex.

id say go for the alpha 2s
havent ridden them, but from what i heard from people, they absolutely rip it, are fun to butter and are extremely playful. the chronic is nice too, but i think the alpha 2 is just a bit more progressive.
my 2 cents

yes im aware that the alpha 1 and PC ar best choises for pipe but alsoski rails and the race base mught get pretty worn from that :)

As long as you take care of the race base it's not going to get that torn up. Treat it right and it will last.

i just skied my alpha 2s for the first time last weekend, super fun ski, just take a little getting used to. great on rails, but cant comment on jumps seeing as i havent hit them yet, they feel super stable though, which would be great for jumps
