so there's a indoor rail jam( with rollers and shit) coming up in middle of nowhere bumble fuck midwest. was bored and curious to know what tricks have won you a rail jam or gotten you podium stand. and having shitty snowboard judges is it better to go spin to win or tech??

ayo andy...it will be all good dude. I used the rollers at the DNA jam two summers ago and its not sketchy at all, if this is anything like that it will be easy to try stuff.

if you want to do well don't bother trying too much unnatural stuff cause the judges probably won't notice

agreed if theyre snowboard judges like you said.

id say def spin a lot, and if you can do switchup/pretzel combinations do those. definitely very noticable

in one comp i did a sw butter 2 onto a rail and they seemed to like that alot and 3 swaps they like 4s outa downs alot to sorry about the claims i couldnt find another way to say it

Hands down the best thing you can do to is just get the most hits in you can. Snake kids like it's your job. So many kids are too timid during a rail jam about how they look and if their trick looks good or not. If you just keep getting hits, you're bound to get noticed.

In my experiences, I have found that they love 450 ons. Don't do little things that skiers like that snowboarders wouldn't notice, like tailpresses. Focus on being steezy, and spin to win every few hits to keep the focus on you.

make sure youre consistent. if you fall every second trick you wont have as good of a chance

do bunny hops on the rails to 270's or 450s out, ive found strangly works, cause everybody does a ton of switchups. also broken grinds and any other rollerblading trick gets good scores w prob any judge, not just snowboard judges. but just so u know rollers suck, u rly have to know the sweet spot of ur ski, and the ones i did were step down onto the rail so u had to b super patient. dont bother w unnatty, nobody notices. also grunt a lot so ppl look
