Anyone know a thing or two about cameras?

waddup new and improved NS.

mommy asked for an xmas list the other day...so i am looking for anyone who knows anything about cameras.

im looking to get a camera(duh?)...but know jack shit about it. i know i dont want a mini digi cam, but an actual camera such as NIKON D60...

cheap is good, but decent quality is a must i dont wanna waste money on a peice of shit. id rather split it if i have to and get a camera that will last me.

i need a camera that can automatically upload pics to my comp, and easily print...

suggestions? thanks new ns!

This guy has some solid reviews of all the Nikons plus Canons and others.  Check it out and decide what you would like yourself.  I have a D-80, D-90, and D-5000 that I use on a regular basis and I recommend all of them but they are a little higher than your price range.

yea both are good cameras.
d40 was my first dslr and its a great camera to start off with. its easy to work
i definitely recommend it

pannasonic hvx 100b make sure to get a p2 card. its gonna be a little advanced and expensive.
