Everything is awesome so far. Anyone else notice the 'Friends' tab is a little dude wearing a bandana? haha

I just want to say, that it's going to drive me nuts that #1, threads posted in aren't black and #2, clicking on a thread from My Threads takes me into the cult (or forum) instead of the thread.

Otherwise, I'm having fun looking around!!

go into the cult and go to the cults home page
once ur under the home page look under the picture, and on the far right there should be a tab that says my cult, click on it and an option will be "quit cult"

i cant look at threads that I have created anymore?  but i can look at other peoples when i access their profiles.  is that normal?  i like to be able to keep track of them.

why do the posts highlight when you scroll over them?
where the fuck is my threads..
loving the the new ads below the menu bar, so now those roll over ads will fuck us ever harder. And now when I use ad block I have a nice blank gap in between the menu and the text.

also loving how slow it is. But I hope that that is just because it was just uploaded.

It is super slow right now for me and it is very annoying

Not very slow for me, I don't mind it. I run Firefox on a HP laptop (Vista w/ 3 gigs of ram)

The layout is friggin sexy!

I feel so proud being a member hahaha! This is a great thing for the skiing industry in general, seriously.

The front page is wayyyyyyy better, blogs/updates are much more visible. Chat in the cults is a great thing!

its rather slow on anything less than good internet. another thought is that the dropdown friends menu seems a bit redundant and useless since your friends are right there on the online list as well.

those are my thoughts for now

All in all, its pretty good. But the one thing that needed a real overhaul was the searchbar. 50 results.... really? make something that searches more than just exact titles(like posts within threads) and displays all the results would be key.

It took me a couple of minutes to get used to it, but I don't mind it now. As long they never ever put one of those ads there that expands when you roll over it. I love the new layout though. So clean and easy to navigate. Pretty slow for me though.

It was moved there because people bitched and moaned about its previous placement, ABOVE the navigation bar, and the drop down blocked anything you wanted to click on.

It has to be somewhere. NS is going to have ads, its a pretty simple concept to understand. And they have to be placed somewhere. And it looks like Bishop and Co. will never make you whiners happy, because you enjoying complaining. Get over it. This site just underwent an amazing redesign, and you want to complain about the placement of ads that helped get it here?

It doesnt work well on Firefox for me. The background is all white and the navigation bar only shows what I've hovered over recently (whatever is orange) It works fine in Chrome, safari, and IE7 (ughk)

It is also really slow for me.
