Pen (Drawing) mouse pad

I am looking to purchase a Drawing pad for my computer. Does anyone here have any experience with them to recommend me one and a decent program to get started with computer based drawing

all of the drawing pads are just fine, none are too much better than each other but a great program i deff recommend is adobe illustrator, good stuff, it has all the basic and advanced things, i have it and i made like logos with it, it has sick settings. you can make almost anything with it. One thing about the Drawing pads is alot of times you will only use it once or twice and there prettyy expensive (100) bucks or so. so i recommend checkng out ebay or craigs list and buying it used. personally i think there over priced.. but if you need any informations about them or anything (programs anythigns!) message me =]

a tablet with illustrator is kinda silly...pen tool with a mouse is better imo
check out corel draw and photoshop
if you want to get into digital painting
and using one for photo retouching is better because you can get more natural strokes.

look up "graphic tablet" online.
theyre sooooo legit. i have one cos i used to do animations and stuff.
