Hey guys, as this Thread died and i dont want to create a whole new thread because i also have a deciding problem. Which is between the Antidogma and the Atomic Punx both from the 08/09 season. im 6'1 ( ~185cm) tall and about 130 lbs i ski 75% park 25%all mountain
i could get the antidogma in 178 and the punx in 173
right now im tending to the Antidogma cause its longer and amplid seems more legit than atomic
what do you guys think? i really need some good answers 'cause im gonna buy 'em tommorow
btw. i broke my skis last week thats why i need some new skis in the middle of the season- Rossignol sucks :)
got Antidogmas today- super stocked
i got them in 178 for 379 € which are like 540 bucks or something like that. i got them center mounted.
cant ski them today or this week, because there is like no snow here in germany due to rain but next week some snow is forecasted.
i will give you all a review about how they perform when i at least skied them 2 times
peace
got the old ones, they look sick well manufactured and all, cant wait to go shreddin' with those
here is a pic

ok finally i went skiing the last two days with my new antidogmas what i can say till now is
1. they are very light weight and easy to spin with (f.e.was aiming for a little 3 and stomped a 5)
2. after 2 days of skiing i had a few topsheet cracks but not that bad
3. the abt (abuse base technology) feels a little akward at first when you hit some rails. it feels as it would slow you down a bit but its not that bad, you get used to it
4. the abt seems to work pretty good. i hit a lot of rails and boxes in the last two days and they also were heated by the sun. but i dont have any visible damage on my bases :D
5. i skied a few groomers too. this ski performed very well there also. due to the wider nose you can carve pretty good and if there is some pow you wont drown in it :D
6. something about stiffness. as everybody says the Antidogma is such a stiff ski it is not really. Ok the AD is not a Line Invader but you also can do butters and nollies and stuff. im pretty light (130 lbs) but i could easyly handle that ski.
-if you have the money and want support a small german ski factory -get some Amplids, even if T-Wall doesnt use them anymore :D
1st of all holy shit, you must be skinny as hell, 6'1 130? im 5'11" 178, and im definetly not fat.....anyways i would go with the anti-dogs, you'll definetly like the longer length(no homo) I ride 178's and i love em, and if you center mount them they'll fell shorter so definetly go with the anti-dogs if you have the $
1.ya sorry im from germany and thought 1 lbs = 0.5 kg. ok i checked it via internetz and regognized that it is more. i converted my weight it and it said i do have 143 lbs. 2. i already got the antidogmas 3. i got them center mounted. 4. i got them in 178 5. why didnt you read through this thread? its not a long one
