sup guyz..i just had the worst track meet ever...and i just felt like writin it out. im pissed at myself cuz i know i could've done better and i just didn't. but yeah...thatz ok.
tom to nick- 'so what time is this skiing for you?'
nick to tom- 'my 1st time'
me to nick without tom there- 'so how did you do with your first day?'
nick to me- 'i fell alot' *pouts*
nick to his friend ian when he doesn't know im listening- 'yeah see last weekend i went skiing and i went down this TRIPLE black diamond! it was like sheer ice!'
me to tom and tom to me- 'hahaha! he's such a liar'

It's ok, we all have our off days. I really suck at Track but ya don't worry, just train hard and focus and you'l do better.

yeah, i just had the worst track meet of my life yesterday, i ran like 25 seconds over my p.r. in the mile....it's just one day, we always got next time

man, i am so shitty at track! im like the teams morale support guy. i can run sorta, but these other 2 guys are nucking futs! they run like 5:45 miles. i get lik 6:45! bleh. i suck but its better than baseball and my coach rocks. just try harder and realize there more important stuff in life. like SKIING!

I had a bad track meet this year and it killed me. I couldn't clear my opening pole vault height of 8'6 for some reason....you got to wait for next time.....

I hate running but I'd love to get timed once in the hundred meters. I don't consider myself very fast at all but I can sprint when I put all my energy into it, 100 meters is nothing.

maybe my kicking you in the shins affected your running. sorry, you did it to me. oh no, ok, i dont go skiing for a month and then i get kicked in teh shins 2 days before i go skiing, damn shins suck. i run a 6 43 mile, but once i ran 6 minutes, but it wasnt like offically timed so i dunno. im not that fast.

Don't worry I felt like crap and ran like crap on Wednesday, but i learned not to get too mad at myself because I know I can do better and will do better next time. You should feel the same way, i was disapointed but not kick my self mad after I ran a 12:30 2 Mile. By the way what events do you guys run?

track is a sport where you are on one day and off the other...too many variables to why you may of had an off day.
I don't race track...but triathlon, so I spend a lot of time on the track and some days suck ass...
Long distance is the shit...go long..very long...3-4hrs long...yippee!! just keep going till you bonk!

i run the mile and 800 mainly. we have a few really good kids at my school and the 4x800 was first nationally for a little while. we also had the best 600 runner in the nation. compared to the league i run in im not good, but i do it mainly to keep me in shape so its ok. pr for 1600 - 4:52 and 800 - 2:09

my last meet i had the best ever even though it was pouring torential rain and winds of 25+mph and i was throwing into the winds too. I threw:

there should be an event where you run until you actually pass out. see who can get the furthest.
and those people who run marathons that do 4 minute miles is nuts. my math teacher was in the boston marathon. i think she said she does about a 5:10 mile. which is good.

Im a thrower and my team ran out of ppl to run so i got signed up to run in the 4x400~I almost died at the end but i ended up running it in 67seconds which i was pretty proud of

yeah, i had a meet where i ran a 5:30, whereas my best is like 5:05....
i think the 400/600 are the most insane races ever...theres a kid at my school who ran a 48.4 in the 400, it's like the fourth fastest time ever for a high school runner...and the greatest part is, he doesn't even make it look like he's going fast, he looks like he's just jogging....until you see the other guys coming in ten seconds after him

hah, same thing happened to me today, ran 20 sec of my pr for the mile. also, we have 14 ft pole vaulters.. and a 6'8 high jumper.

yay! just got back from this week's track meet...it wuz sooooo much better. everyone wuz right. i got 4th in both races and i had to run 1st heat so i'd say thatz not too bad :)
