Computer Speaker help

I have a boston digital BA735 subwoofer and speakers from an old gateway. Right now I have a simple toshiba satelitte L305D. According to everywhere i have looked the speakers need the output from the comp to be digital and I guess mine is analog. What is a simple way to swtich my output to digital?

you need a analog to digital audio converter, there pretty pricey though

After browsing ebay and checking a price for a sound card with digital output, the value of your speakers is less than that of a card to make em work. I would suggest just buy a set of speakers with analouge input like these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121010
