Whats the coolest animal you have come across while skiing.

I had an encounter with a MT. lion a couple years ago that was really cool.

i was skiing some sidecountry in JH two years ago and came over a roller and ran into some meese. they were big and fucking scary.

I chased a black bear cub by accident over the summer. it was in a raspberry bush and I just saw the top of its back and wanted to figure out what it was. I chased it like 30 yards then it popped its head out of the bush and surprised the shit out of me

From the base area at my mountain, I am able to look fairly far up a main run and one morning I looked up and there was a huge ass

i saw a mountain lion eatin a deer then a black bear jumped on the mountain lion and sliced its neck the the deer killed the bear...long day

One time at Lake Louise we ducked this rope and were skiing beside it but we slowly started venturing away from the rope. And the one guy who knew where to go said we turn around this tree and then go between these two trees and its wide open and it will take us right back in bounds.
So i was following him, he turns around the one tree and stops, so i stop behind him. He points to the snow between the two trees and there is a lynx sitting there.
We didnt know if he would fucking attack us or what so we took our skis/boards off and walked around the trees. Took us 45 minutes to get back in bounds because the trees were so dense and we could get back over to where we needed to be.
So now we call it lake loulynx.

oh, and one day we had a skunk running around the hill. It never sprayed, but people were flying all over the place trying to avoid getting close to it.

And to whoever said the kangaroo.....that's badass.
