id hold off on the vikings. they havent played that many GOOD teams yet. same really for the Broncos with the exception of the pats, and as stoked as i was to see the broncos win, that taunting call was shenanigans.

yeah im just from MN so i am bias but i know how it goes 15 - 1 in 98 and lose in the NFC championship so i'll be optimistic but won't be comfortable till they actually win to get into it haha...and they have the biggest test of the year next week against the steelers


guy talking about no upsets in professional sports...i'll agree they are all pros right? making the big bucks to play the sports we love to watch some are more talented but they are all pros and should be able to beat each other at any time.

I am a Packers fan but I also like Brett Favre.  BUT, the Vikings track record in the Super Bowl ain't that good.  Lost, every single time they have gone and I think they have gone 4 times.

the titans were the number one seed in the afc last year hahah, they are fucking up so badly.

im really interested to see how the steelers do againt the vikings.

they're 4 and 2 as the defending champs and the teams they beat are the titans, lions, bears and chargers. the only team even close to respectable in that is the chargers.

they are returning 22 of 24 starters they should be a machine but they arent right now. im glad that they are laying low to be honest though, they were 3 and 2 last year to start the season and they almost always start slow and then fuck shit up in the playoffs. they win as an undercard team. they are getting into the thick of their schedule right now and i have a feeling they will turn it up a notch.

you need to stop bitching dude. you really do. i'm a giants fan and sure they got romped on, but they needed that. when the patriots lose brady and bellicheck (sp?) they will have shit. when they turn into the team that sucked for so long and get ass raped in the future you will be nowhere in sight. honestly fuck... if my team dominated another I'd be happy but the Bellicheck philosophy of let em' have it shows personalitly flaws and a ruthless lack of sportsmanship. Good for your team for winning, but remeber karma. and o yea 18-1. no matter what you say, the patriots had by far the best season a football team has ever had that year and blew it. even if the giants have been playing shitty teams the group of guys on the field is nearly identical to the one that played in super bowl XLII. you need to chill the fuck out. every week it's a new thread on the pats. trust me we've heard it nobody cares anymore. the pats are a great team there is no doubt about it, threads like this are completely redundant.

You get paid to win games. They don't get paid to butcher teams. Would you agree with your own logic if some team beat the patriots 60-0 or better yet 70-0? would you still agree with what you're saying if someone like say Lebron James wanted to see how many points he could drop on the celtics to set a record? are you saying that brady has a personality flaw cause he likes romping on teams? there are a lot of things i would like to do for myself, but i don't becuause i have RESTRAINT.

I agree, there's NO WAY you let up at halftime in the NFL, or even in the 3rd quater. And they only scored 14 points in the second half.  I don't have a problem with them ramming it down their throats at all.  If the Titans decide to not cover the pat's receivers, that's their problem.  When did they pull Brady out though? seems risky just because the Titans were probably pissed and I highly doubt he'll get anywhere near the record this year.

I predicted natedogg's bullshit earlier in this thread. People will always whine about "running up the score." These people have no clue how sports work and are too focused on fairness to think logically. What the hell were the pats supposed to do, not try? let the Titans score a few sympathy points? NO! Brady missed an entire season last year and even got injured in the preseason this year. He has had a crappy go of it thus far, so why not let him air the ball out and get his bearings back? It's a logical strategy to get him prepared for the rest of the season. It lets him build confidence in his accurracy and his ability while at the same time synchronizing him with his receivers. Quit bitching, it's sooooooooo played out, we heard that bs in 07. Just because the giants sucked massive amounts of scrote yesterday doesn't mean you need to take it out on a team that actually did well. Superbowl win considered, Eli Manning is mediocre at best. get over it and grow up, this isn't peewee.

i would be completely fine with lebron dropping 82 on the celtics. i will reiterate myself. its the titans problem, not the pats'. players like julian edelman get valuable experience playing with brady in a real nfl game. its good to get a nice rhythm and get in a groove. its confidence boosting after our atrocious performance last week

as i said before the patriots did blow the doors off of that game early on and you can't really say as a coach to hold up at that point. As for delphi you are right, you don't just let up in the second quarter and rip your starters out. I use basketball because it's high scoring, but there are NBA teams that sometimes grow huge margins in the first 2 quarters. they take out their big players but end up putting them back in even if the game is still a blowout. they do this because at the pro level in any sport you can be damn good but you still need to be on the floor/field/court for the majority of the game to stay at that high level of competition. Bellicheck does not use this kind of logic, he would rather bury a team and make them cry for mercy rather than letting up. yesterday is not a great example, but there are many other instances where in the third and fourth quarters of games he has kept pouring it on, because he doesn't believe in mercy. I'm glad the giants got beat, because it will wake them up. If they didn't lose this game against the saints then shit it may have come sometime more inconvenient, like the playoffs. it will make the giants a better team. this is a good thing, in all honesty i am glad the giants lost. this is something a patriots fans would never admit, because they don't like the idea of going back to their days of shit.

this is PROFESSIONAL football,  bring a better team to the field Tennessee.  i'm sorry but NE only scored 14 points in the second half, that's not what i call running up the score.  also in the second half the titans gave up THREE of there FIVE turn overs,  is NE supposed to give the ball back to them, pat em on the back and say give it another shot.  maybe this time you won't turn it over.  grow up this is PRO football on NATIONAL TV.

Injuries give me the willies. Anyone see Oguchi Onyewu's knee injury in the Costa Rica game? He went down and immediately started screaming for the sidelines...out for 4 months. Now AC Milan wants US to pay his salary! Those fuckers. If he was playing for Brazil, England, Germany or Italy they would have paid it themselves, but since its US soccer they are upset about it.

Do you even know what that video is referring to. How can you blame him for a bad call? He did not make the call. He also did not create the roughing the passer rules. An when asked about it later Rodney said it was a joke. He and Brady are good friends. Brady seemed to be throwing pretty good in all that snow if he was still wearing that skirt.
