Should have got you feet fit by an actual bootfitter.

Yea no offense but melting shells to try to fit to your feet isn't a good idea. I know you already payed for the boots and everything but next time you should go to a boot fitter and buy a boot that fits your foot better. There are a lot of really good wide shell boots out there.

A good bootfitter will easily be able to heat up the shells and stretch/widen the boots. Also, have you tried molding the liners yet? The ID liners will pack out when you mold them so that may help them fit your foot.

i had some retard at my shop who should have been never been fitting boots, sell a guy a pair of salomon impact 10's a fairly narrow boot. the guy should have been in a nordica beast, a fairly wide boot, i spent a good 2 days punching these things to get them to about a 104 last. it was scary, alot of people will not do this or they will charge you prolly over $100 for that much work, that dude was just lucky we guerentee all our fits or i wouldn't have touched it. that being said i would try to trade these boots for some spk's or something more appropriate. unless you don't know how a ski boot is suppose to fit. take the liner out center your heal  in the back of the boot, are both sides of your feet touching the inside of the shell in your forefoot? if they are good luck, sell um and go see a boot fitter. if nether sides are touching or just lightly its prolly the right width, now move your toes up so they are lightly touching the front, can you fit a tight 2 fingers behind your heal?(mine is one tight finger for performance)this boot prolly fits you if its anymore then two tight fingers your boots are to big, , boots are suppose to be very tight, i'm a c width size 11(29 mondo) street shoe, in a 27.0 fulltilt konflict, fits like a glove, its like driving a race care do you want to be wearing mittins or a tight fitting leather glove, more foot problems bonespurs ext. come from boots that are to big/wide then to small. cold feet usually come from people cranking there buckles in boots that are to big, if your boot fits it should only take one finger to open and close your buckles. take them and go see a bootfitter. expect to spend some money for there time

I got the boots from a boot fitter. He moulded the liners. I was concerned that the boots felt a bit narrow, but he insisted that within 20 hours of wear, the shells would naturally stretch to accommodate my feet.

its weird that its the middle buckle you leave open, its normally the bottom cable buckle that you would leave open, where is the pain on your foot?
