Is there a way to make a two part camera dolly?

Looking into making a dolly, only problem is that it has to be like 15 feet long and that will never fit in the car, so therefore it has to collapse into 2 7.5 foot parts, or 3 5 foot parts would be even better.

Can anyone think of a way to do this?

Take two 10 foot sections of pvc. cut them into sections of the desired length. Buy some pvc that fits inside of the pvc you just cut. cut small connector peices and sand them to get a good fit. Then you can assemble and dissasemble the rails. I did this it works great.
