Replying to Want to have a freeskier game?!

SHD:
Think this is a big enough theme for a new active tread!
Took this from another tread:
EA needs to make a skiing game!! they should just do EA snow, have it snowboarding and skiing, and with the same controls and physics of skate. so like you butter with one stick and control your skis or board like with ollies, nollies, shifties, and stuff, then the other stick controls the body, like grabs and everything. then like skate have the game based around a city type area, like summit county kinda thing, have like 2 different resorts, a backcountry pass, then a town in the middle of it all, so you like ski down off the resort, then go into town and find urban spots and stuff, or go to the pass and hit backcountry stuff.if they made it skiing and snowboarding they seriously would sell twice as much, skiing is pretty damn big now, and its pretty sad that we really havent had a freestyle skiing game when like bmx and rollerblading have. if they made it skiing and snowboarding, just as many snowboarders would buy it, but literally every skier that plays video games would buy it for sure, because you know every skier out there has been waiting for a legit ski game and its been way too long, i would buy the console that it came out on if i didnt have it yet, and im sure alot of other people would too. they would make a shit ton of money and make alot of people happy.

Word! Haven't played skate myself, but the concept sounds dope! That + Having a career mode where you start from scratch, riding just your home mountain and doing easy tricks in the start. Progressing to do more epic stuff, and having to buy new gear to get more style points. You would have to attend small comps and getting involved with people who will bring cameras and make small edits, you have to send to the right brands to get sponsors. And evolving to ski new mountains, attend more comps, learning more tricks, get new sponsors, making movies with more and more respected company's, and going from pow segments in your home resort, to heliskiing in Alaska! Building your own BC jumps, starting to hold invitationals where YOU pick the format, and design the jumps/rails. And it would be sick if some of these comps could be online, and you score among other gamers! You could do so much with a game like this! And guess what, a lot of people who don't do sports at all would buy it! I don't know to much about Americans when it comes to buying things like this, but what i do know is that norwegian kids would! And it would just be EPIC!
Some gamers here should put up a really good concept and take it to EA in a serious way, with as many pro skiers and boarders backing them up as possible! If anyone got contacts this would work! Let's dream and do what we can about this people!
